The Camden County Board of Commissioners approved several board reappointments during their regular meeting.

Commissioners voted to reappoint Dawn Gray to the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) Region 5 Advisory Council. During discussion, staff explained that state funding for behavioral health and developmental disability services flows through the DBHDD to community service boards such as Gateway Community Service Board, and that the advisory board can carry local concerns about services back to the state. A commissioner noted a desire for more information about the board going forward. The motion was seconded and carried.

The board also approved the reappointment of Sandra Craig and Katherine Dixon to the Camden County Department of Family and Children Services Board, handled as a single agenda item. That motion was seconded and carried.
