Camden County High School four-star wide receiver Sean Green committed to the Florida State Seminoles on June 9. The Kingsland standout picked the Seminoles over Georgia and Virginia, capping a recruitment that also drew interest from Miami and programs across the Southeast.
It's a notable loss for the Bulldogs, who had been considered FSU's primary competition for Green since around January and were widely seen as a top landing spot for the in-state talent. There was an obvious storyline sitting right there for Green to step into. Camden County's last big recruiting name, offensive lineman Micah Morris, went to UGA, won two national championships, and got drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles this spring. Green had the chance to follow that same well-worn path out of Kingsland. Instead, he charted his own course to Tallahassee.
